Nollywood
superstar, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, was recently livid with a blogger
who posted a picture of her 14 year-old daughter, Meraiah, on the
blogsphere, describing her 'sexy'.The
sultry actress was aslo furious that the teenager’s school was also
posted on the internet, thereby putting the young lady at risk.
Omotola
didn't hide her disgust as she exploded “ Her
father and I are horrified as parents and guardians that a minor's
picture can be paraded online as hot" ,"sexy". We
know the bloggers probably meant no harm but in a world full of
paedophiles and sickos every adult with morales should know where to
draw the line. I will not hesitate henceforth to use everything
within my power to bring anyone to justice who does this with any of
my under aged kids after "this" first time episode !...”
But another blogger, by name of Lamzat has replied the
actress, saying “Omotola is a bit dumb and an ignoramus on this!
Facebook age limit is 13! If you trust your 14 year old daughter to
go gallivanting on Facebook with open public profile, bloggers are
protected by the law. There are 7 decided international cases on
this.If you are careless as a parent and want your daughter to be a
star like you and unwittingly left her profile public, you have
committed an offence as a parent” he wrote.
