55 yr-old man arrested with $150,000 fake dollars

Raymond Babs is 55years old and a graphic artist. The father of two who hails from Isaoke in Osun State seemed not to be making headways in his chosen career; the reason he has blamed on his stiff-neckedness to heed the divine calling to be servant of God.  Today, Raymond is telling Police operatives how he got into crime rather than preach the gospel of God.Life-22

Report say he was caught with $150,000 pieces of fake US dollars while attempting to transact business with an Hausa client.   “My old friend, Alahji Bello requested for a fake dollar which he used for business transaction. Firstly, I bought 10 pieces of the dollar for him which he collected. The second time, he demand for $150,000 which I used 2,000 naira to purchased at Koriko balogun market, Victoria island; but it was in the process of handing over the money that I was arrested by the Police. Originally, I was called to be preacher of God’s message but I ignored it and I am sure that is why I have been exposed publicly now. Honestly, I vowed never to participate in any illegal business in my life again if God forgives me for this,”

But the Police informed that contrary to claims from Raymond that  he was contracted by Alhaji Bello to be supplying the fake foreign  currency, he was actually trading on it until the unsuspecting Alhaji discovered that he was buying fake dollars from his customer and promptly alerted the Police who got Raymond arrested at the point of exchanging the fake dollars for naira.
