Chelsea
midfielder, John Obi
Mikel, may miss out in this season's English premiership
following reports that the club has
made contact with Inter Milan with a view of shipping him to the
Italian club.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte wants Mikel to leave and make room for new signings. Chelsea are asking for $6.6M for the long serving defensive midfielder.

Inter are said to be keen in landing Mikel and are
considering the proposal. Mikel suffered a spell on the bench under
Jose Mourinho, but his career was given a shot in the arm by interim
coach Guus Hinddink after Mourinho was fired for bad results.
However, Mikel’s agent, Mesrun Izzet revealed there were also
offers from Turkey.
“Mikel did enquire about Besiktas and there
were talks but it all depends on what their board decide to do. Money is of course important but Mikel wants
first-team football if he is to move,” Izzet said.
